Design and make your own unique jewelry during a wonderful holiday in "Residence Ambert", this is possible under the expert guidance of Resi.
In "Residence Ambert" we will work in the studio or on the covered terrace.

Resi has been involved in Designing and making jewelry for more than 36 years. She started her jewelry shop in 1988 in Veghel in Brabant. She painted miniatures on silk, see Photo on the right, glass and clay and mounted them on jewelry. This became so popular that courses were in high demand and a business developed around supplying materials for this and so the jewelry shop developed into a handicraft shop where many courses in all kinds of techniques were given by Resi.

The jewelry is made of fine silver wire and semi-precious stones.

The semi-precious stones are wrapped in the silver wire. Resi uses raw and polished stones, each piece of jewelry is unique.

If you are interested in this form of jewelry making, it is important that you have patience for fine intricate work and that you have some experience in this, for example fine needle work.

During this holiday week you will make a number of pieces of jewelry, depending on the time it takes you to master the technique and what you choose to make. Depending on your preference, you can select to make the folowing jewelry :

Pendant - Bracelet - Earrings - Ring - Necklace

During the course you will work with silver-plated wire and you can choose from a collection of semi-precious stones and- or semi-precious stone beads that are suitable for use in jewelry. The necessary parts to finish the jewelry are also at your disposal.

Below in the pictures you can see a few examples of jewelry that could be made. 
The jewelery is based on a silver web of fine silver wire (0.2 mm), into which, the stones or stone beads are woven. It resembles fine silver lace. Created in this way, the jewelry has an ethereal effect and is a unique work of art.
